The Grand Hotel was inaugurated with outstanding pomp and splendour on five October 1905. It was a 1-st class hotel with majestic inside fittings. The restaurant quickly became one of Halmstad's most popular music cafés with plenty of celebrity customers. Over the years there have been a lot of changes in fashions and approaches.
