General Information

Tranquil location. The Kolea at Waikoloa Beach Resort on the Big Island was completed in 2005. This gated community is advantageously located on Anaeho'omalu Bay. Known locally as "A" Bay, this historic inlet was favored by antique Hawaiians as an abundant fishing ground. Other district highlights comprise Hapuna Beach State Park, situated six miles from Kolea at Waikoloa and Pu'ukohola Heiau National Historic Site which is 7 miles away. Customers arriving by means of Kona International Airport are 18 miles north of Kolea at Waikoloa.
