Tranquil location. The Alpine Haus is situated in Vernon, N.J., a little city also known as "Little Vermont". The bed & breakfast is situated next door to the Mountain Creek Waterpark and Mountain Creek Ski Resort, which provides skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing. The Hidden Valley Ski Resort is situated less than 3 miles from the inn.
Features. This 1887 Federal fashion inn highlights a covered porch overlooking the Vernon Valley and Mount Pochunk. Complimentary state breakfasts are catered daily, including the inn's signature dish of upside down French toast. Business facilities comprise fax and photocopy services and additionaly high speed wired and over-the-air Internet access. Dry cleaning and washhouse services are accessible for a fee. Concierge services are included. Pets are not allowed at this property.

Guestrooms. Guestrooms at the Alpine Haus are named after wild mountain bunchs of flowers. Egyptian cotton towels imported from England are offered in the privy bathrooms, and beds are dressed with supplementary thick mattresses. All apartments feature cable tv with premium channels, DVD players and VCRs.
