The Innisfree Bed & Breakfast is situated in the midst of the West Washington National Historic District in South Bend, Ind. The Studebaker Mansion, Studebaker National Museum, and city centre butiques and restaurants are within short distance, less than a mile away. The University of Notre Dame and St. Mary's College are about 2 miles away.
Locally known as "The Fredrickson House, " this 1892 home is decorated with gables and turrets that define the reconstructed Queen Anne architecture. A large friendly facade porch leads to the entrance and lobby. This Celtic inspired inn is filled with antiques and family heirlooms. Full, complimentary breakfasts are catered every morning in the park, dining region or in the rooms for guests. Siesta tea is also accessible. The guesthouse proposes complimentary cordless Internet access, a computer station, and fax and photocopy services. The ground floor has 3 parlors with intricate, handcrafted latticework in the archways. 5 original carved forest fireplaces in the home feature colorful tiles and mirrors above the mantles. Books line the walls, and spacious seating is catered for conversation or reading. Pets are not allowed at this property.

Four of the six rooms for guests at the Innisfree Bed & Breakfast propose privy bathrooms, and all rooms provide bathrobes. Select suites feature stained glass windows, turret sitting regions, claw foot tubs, pedestal sinks and jetted tubs. The Michael Collins Room proposes a sitting region neighboring to the original oak trimmed hearth. The M.A. Lahey Room underlines a little terrace with vistas of the trees and terraces. Cable tv with VCRs, videos and additionaly over-the-air Internet access are offered.
