The Solvang Gardens Lodge is situated on the edge of the antique world, European fashion countryside of Solvang, Calif., in the Santa Ynez Valley. The Elverhøj Museum of History and Art is 2 blocks away. The lodge is around one half mile from the Santa Ynez River, and boutiques, restaurants, wine tasting suites and bakeries in the countryside. Wine tours and tastings are accessible at plenty of wineries within ten miles of the lodge in the Santa Ynez Valley, where the movie "Sideways" was filmed.
Built in 1950 in the decor of a classic Danish farmhouse, the Solvang Gardens Lodge was the 1st motel in Solvang, Calif. The lodge's terraces propose ponds, and open-air eating and sitting regions.
