General Information
This dainty 1915 Georgian Colonial home sits on an idyllic hill in Seattle's University area. The Chambered Nautilus Inn is situated a mere 10 min from the city centre sights and a short amble from the University of Washington campus. A gently sloping staircase welcomes visitors from the st level up to the terraces and into the old filled entryway. Every morning begins with a full breakfast, featuring fresh fruit, juice, homemade granola and entrees, including Northwest breakfast pie and rosemary buttermilk muffins or the often requested stuffed French toast with homemade orange syrup and, no doubt, a lot of fresh roasted Seattle coffee. Sip tea by the fire in the drawing room, eat fresh baked cookies on the sun porch, or unwind with a book from the inn's well stocked shelves. One dog per apartment is allowed for a fee of $10 per night in a limited number of suites.
All visitor apartments are furbished with antiques and for your convenience, all feature privately-owned baths and privately-owned telephones with modem/data port. Soft homely bathrobes, bottled water, superb down comforters, TV, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, and a resident Teddy bear invite you to every room. Some suites in addition offer porches, a lot of of which face the terraces and the hills, and their own privately-owned hearth.
