General Information

For over a century this delicate Victorian Inn features received customers to St. Augustine. Local maps and early records show that the guesthouse was constructed between 1865 and 1885 and was advertised as an intimate holiday hotel as early as 1886. By 1911 the premises was known as the Kenwood Hotel. The hotel features kept the spell and character of 100 years of custom whilst now offering a casual modern style to enjoy. Situated within the Historic District between the Oldest House and the esteemed Castillo de San Marcos, The Kenwood Inn is within short distance of a lot of pleasant restaurants and all historic sites. It's one block from the Intracoastal Waterway with its passing fishing trawlers, yachts at anchor and the classic Bridge of Lions. Across the bridge by auto or bicycle are miles of delicate ocean beaches. The Inn's wide lodgings comprise suites with double, queen and king sized pillow-topped beds. A lot of apartments also comprise pullout queen size sofas. The Inn features central heat and air, and all rooms in the hotel have privately-owned baths. Bicycles are obtainable to tour the town. The walled-in patio is the ideal place to sit and lounge afater a long day of investigating the ancient city. The swimming pool is neighboring to the patio via the gate and is highly refreshing on those hot and humid summer months days.
