General Information

The Days Inn in Port Lavaca is a newly renewed, full amenities hotel. The guesthouse is situated in Calhoun County, one of the biggest peninsulas on the Texas Gulf Coast. We are encircled by the Lavaca Bay and the Gulf of Mexico to the south and the San Antonio Bay to the west. The pristine waters, coves around the scenic Matagorda Island, and the natural barrier island between our continental and the Gulf of Mexico all comply with the wishes and dreams of naturalists, bird watchers, photographers, fishermen, boaters, and beach-goers alike. Also, the City of Port Lavaca officially opened the recently constructed Lighthouse Beach and Bird Sanctuary Park. The white, sandy coastline fronts the world's longest bird watching boardwalk that is built absolutely of recycled plastics planking. A particularly constructed bird watching stronghold is part of the recent garden which also consists of one of the world's longest fishing piers that runs out in the Lavaca Bay.
