The Archer House is an ideal French Second Empire Inn situated along the beautiful Cannon River. Located at the midst of Historic city centre Northfield, the Inn is encircled by restaurants and bars in addition to bookstores, old boutiques, clothing and accessories shops, gift butiques and galleries. The Inn is three blocks from the Carleton College campus and one. two miles from the St. Olaf College Campus. The Archer House opened in 1877 one year after Jesse James failed raid on Northfield's First National Bank. The Inn has 36 individualy colored visitor apartments & suites. The Archer House features 2 full facilities restaurants. The Tavern Restaurant and Chapati Cuisine of India. The Tavern Lounge, A coffee boutique, Bittersweet Eatery and Gathering Place, A Bag Lady and Paper Petalum butiques and Nevaeh Salon are situated in the Inn. The Archer House River Inn proposes independent high speed over-the-air Internet throughout the structure. The Inn is 100 percent non-smoking. We do welcome pets. A safety deposit is required and pets may not be left unattended. The Archer House features personnel on duty to help you 24 a day and is open 365 days a year. Feast and meeting space is obtainable in the Riverside Room for groups from 15 to 100 visitors. We provide full facilities catering. Work meeting set up is obtainable for groups up to 60.
