The Touro Park Inn is situated in Newport, R.I., at the upper of Heritage Hill. The guesthouse is lodged in Touro Park, home of the mysterious Old Stone Mill, a twenty-four foot fieldstone structure whose builders remain unknown to this day. Bellevue Avenue has mansions dating back to the Gilded Age one quarter mile away. Newport's historic waterfront proposes butiques and restaurants less than one mile away. Easton's Beach is one mile from the guesthouse.
Built in 1863, this Italianate fashion manor house underlines a porch facing Touro Park. Complimentary breakfasts are catered every morning in the breakfast room, featuring a café and a glutton entree. Afternoon lunches are offered. A library including books on the heritage of Newport, sailing and architecture is offered in the living room. The drawing room showcases artwork of local artisans. The Portrait Room has antiques and artifacts relating to Newport's heritage and the Gilded Age and family portraits by Giovanni Boldini. Pets are not allowed at the premises.
