Built in 1895, The Beyer Haus features been thoughtfully re-equipped into a 1-st class bed & breakfast establishment. Relaxed elegance and impressive breakfasts are the hallmark of The Beyer Haus, a century-old, three-story Queen Anne Victorian on the National Register of Historic Places. This Grand Dame invites you with her grace and spell. Much of the original architecture remains the same as it was over a century ago, including the memorable staircase, brick turret, high ceilings, solid forest floors and ornate woodwork. The entryway walls feature hand painted artwork by Anton Gag, a beloved local artist. Every of the 4 visitor apartments are situated in a corner of the cottage, adding solitude and pleasure for our dear guests. The commodious suites feature high ceilings, natural lighting, disunite seating regions and privately-owned baths with whirlpools, thermal showers or soaking tubs. Every room is softly ornamented in its own particular fashion. Unwind on the porch swing on the wraparound facade porch, on the 3 shaded back deck, or in one of 3 parlor regions, one of which is our billiards suite. The top parlor proposes a beverage brasserie with assorted teas, fresh coffee every day in the morning and a little refrigerator stocked with complimentary bottled water and soft drinks. The sitting area provides a game desk, ideal for working jigsaw puzzles or relishing a game of cards.
