The Gruene Mansion Inn is situated in a historical complex in the community of Gruene, 3 miles from city center New Braunfels, Texas. Complete city is a historical landmark, registered with the National Registry of Historic Places. The guesthouse rests on the banks of the Guadalupe River neighboring to Gruene Hall, which claims to be the oldest continuously running dance lounge in the country. City centre Gruene proposes little shops selling antiques, clothes, handmade furniture and pottery and home furniture and accessories, all within one quarter mile of the hotel.
This inn is consists of a few historical buildings. The centerpiece of the complex is H.D. Gruene's Victorian home, built on a bluff facing the Guadalupe River.
