Cherokee Lodge Coronado

General Information

In 1896, two Houses of unknown vintage were moved by barge across San Diego Bay to Coronado from National City. There were transported to the present tranquil location at 964 D Avenue and joined along with a supplemental structure for the aim of operating a social accommodation cottage. This establishment began operation as the Cherokee Lodge and features 12 bedrooms plus common regions. The Cherokee Lodge derives its name from the Cherokee roses that bordered the site at the turn of the century. The Cherokee Lodge is situated only 1 short block from the midst of city centre Coronado and only four blocks from one of the best beaches in southern California.
