General Information

Cumberland Falls State Resort is situated in the Daniel Boone National Forest. Known as the Niagara of the South, the waterfall forms a 125ft huge curtain that plunges 60ft into a gorge below. The mist of Cumberland Falls creates the magical of the Moonbow, only visible on a clean night during a full moon. The only phenomenon appears nowhere else in the Western Hemisphere. Dupont Lode is constructed from solid hemlock beams and knotty pine panelling compliment the massive stone fireplaces int he historic building. The 52 lodge rooms provide gorgeous views and full facilities. Enjoy vistas of the Cumberland River whilst enjoying Kentucky cuisine and thoughtful service in the Dining Room situated in the lodge. Dupont Lodge is located high facing the Cumberland River in the Daniel Boone National Forest.
