General Information

Step into this adorable 100 year ancient Victorian home and be swept away by th adornment and furniture and accessories. Clients able to enter the cottage by strolling via the wide, wrap around porch and step into the facade lounge with curved plaster walls, wainscoting, and a gas lamp made of stained glass believed to be an original of the home. To the left of the facade lounge is the living room, featuring a round stained glass window with beveled glass embedded in the midst. In the heart of the apartment are twin silk oriental rugs, encircled by a love seat and wing back chairs. The hearth underlines a fireplace of Victorian tile and is topped by a beveled mirror in a gilded frame. Adjoining the living room is the breakfast room. An ample old oak dining desk with eight chairs is used for guests' meals which consists of a full breakfast catered every day in the morning and tea and lunches in the afternoon. In front of the living room on th other side of the facade lounge is the library. This apartment highlights a specific six register miniature upright piano and a bookcase stocked with books. The major stairway leads to the upstairs hallway. In front of the upper of the stair is a wash stand with a wheat pattern carved in the facade. Adjacent to the wash stand is an old love seat upholstered in white brocade. 3 rooms for guests open off the hallway, with a smaller hallway leading to the rear of the cottage. The rooms for guests are appointed with comfort and convenience in mind. Facilities include privy bathrooms, high quality internet connections, a business area, cable TVs, VCRs, phones, coffee facilities, and deadbolt locks.
