General Information

Tranquil location. The Pickford House B&B is situated in Cambria, Calif., a city filled with special boutiques, art museums and gastronome restaurants. The bed & breakfast is eight miles from William Randolph Hearst's palace. About 12 miles east of the site is the Paso Robles Wine Country, featuring numerous plantations of grapevines, orchards and berry farms with tasting rooms.
Features. This rural Victorian manor house faces historic Rancho Santa Rosa and the Santa Lucia Mountains. The Pickford House foyer has 2 swan carved chairs and a royal scarlet velvet settee with matching carved tables, an old working telephone booth, and turn of the century wall coverings, accessories and lighting. Complimentary breakfasts, evening hors d'oeuvres and bedtime cocktails and sweet cakes are catered daily. The owners' own range of old glass and collector quality seashells enhance the social spaces. A breakfast room and 1860s old brasserie give a saloon like ambience. Pets are not allowed at this property.

Guestrooms. Guestrooms at The Pickford House B&B feature sitting districts and topic apt art pieces. Lodgings are equiped with cable tv. 3 of the rooms for guests comprise fireplaces and gulf windows looking out to the hills. Beds are topped with down and feather pillows.
