Wide Sur Lodge is situated in old groves of redwood and oak trees in Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park. Spacious Sur; California is notorious for its pristine genuine beauty and dramatic; rugged coastline and features been an inspiration to writers; artists; and seekers of a more easy life.
Only several mins wander to the Big Sur River; with lovely vistas of the Santa Lucia Mountains; every of our 61 commodious cottage-style suites features its own deck or porch.
Numerous touring trails are situated in the 1. 006 acre garden and a panoramic highlight is Pfeiffer Falls Trail which winds over rural bridges across Pfeiffer Redwood Creek and ends at a 60-foot high waterfall. From this trail; some of the best redwood groves in the Big Sur area able to be viewed. Wildlife is abundant in the plaza and condors soar overhead; often stopping to loosen in the upper of a redwood tree just outside the lobby to the major lodge.
