Serene location. The Maple Street Inn, situated in West Barnstable, Mass., is one half mile off historic Route 6A, which is the town's Main Street. Stately ancient sea captains' homes and other historic buildings are about 5 miles from the hotel. The John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum and the Barnstable Harbor, which serves as a launching point for charter fishing and whale watching cruises, are less than eight miles away.
Features. This 1853 Second Empire Mansard home resides a spot in the National Register of Historic Places. The guesthouse faces Mill Pond, which serves as an accepted home for ducks and swans. Complimentary 3 course glutton breakfasts, including muffins, banana bread, baked eggs, waffles, French toast or quiche Lorraine, are catered daily. Old wooden furniture and commodious portrait paintings are supplemented by candles and bunchs of flowers. Pets are not allowed at this property.
