General Information

Serene location. The Rose River Inn Bed & Breakfast is a 3 block stroll to the historic sites, museums, galleries, butiques and restaurants situated on the riverwalk of Astoria, Ore. Miles of sandy beaches, golfing, fishing, boating and horseback riding are also accessible surrounding. From the Astoria Column, just 4 blocks from the Rose River Inn Bed & Breakfast, clients able to enjoy a scenic panorama of the Oregon and Washington Coastlines, mouth of the Columbia River, and waterside chine. Fort Clatsop and Lewis and Clark's Winter Encampment are only a 5 mile drive from this bed & breakfast.
Hotel Features. The Rose River Inn Bed & Breakfast is a 1912 Craftsman fashion home provided with state antiques and art. There is a hearth in the common living room, terraces in the backyard, and a soothing sitting porch. A complimentary full glutton breakfast is catered in the breakfast room, which faces the Columbia River. Clients are invited to read a book or watch a film from the inn's own collections, or recline on the porch and watch ships go by on the river.

Guestrooms. The quietly romantic rooms for guests of this inn all have privy bathrooms featuring ancient claw foot tubs. All rooms for guests have cable tv and a DVD player, on which clients able to play one of the over 300 DVDs from the inn's library. Complimentary coffee/tea is catered upon demand.

Expert Tip. The Astoria/Megler Bridge at the mouth of the Columbia River, more than 4 miles long, is the longest of its type in North America.
