Victoria Cloisters Apartments York

General Information

Victoria Cloisters self catering suites are situated in the Heart of the City of York on Fetter Lane. The suites are governed by The Queens Hotel situated on Queens Staith Road, less than 2 min stroll away. (Keys able to be collected from the Reception at The Queens Hotel from 3pm on the day of arrival and should be handed in no later than ten. 00am on the day of departure). The rooms were newly constructed and opened in 2009. There are a mix of 1 bedroom and two bedroom suites with kingsize double beds, some twin beds and some with sofa beds making them a flexible alternative to families and groups of friends. We only accept family or couples groups in our suites, no single sex groups(5+ people=group). Each room features bathroom with bath and shower. Maximum four groun-ups OR two groun-ups, two kids in all rooms. The kitchen and drawing room is open plan, an electric oven, washing machine and microwave is supplied in all rooms. Crockery, utensils, bedding, linen and towels are offered. Please be ready to self serve in these rooms. Flatscreen freeview tv and dvd are independent to use and WIFI is also accessible at no additional charge. Parking is not included. The local covered safe parking is located less than 200 yards from Victoria Cloisters. The charge is £10. 00 per day and night.

Transportation

From the North: From the A1 to A59 to City Centre, pass through City Walls, through 1st set of traffic lights, at 2nd set of lights, turn right into Skeldergate and 1st left onto Queens Staith Road, you'll need to collect your keys from The Queens Hotel situated on the right. Or, from the A19 cross the outer ring highway (A1237) into York, passing the Theatre Royal. Turn directly at the traffic lights, over the Lendal Bridge to the following set of lights. Turn left into George Hudson Street. Turn left at the following lights and 1st right into Skeldergate. Turn left onto Queens Staith Road, you'll need to collect your keys from The Queens Hotel situated on the right. From the South: M1M18 Junction two to A1(M), to A64 to A1036 sliproad to City Centre. Pass through City Walls, through 1st set of traffic lights, at the 2nd set of lights, turn right onto Skeldergate and take your 1st left onto Queens Staith Road, You will need to collect you keys from The Queens Hotel situated on the right.
