Transportation

From the North. Take the A1 onto the A59 in the suburbs of the town you'll cross the A1237. Follow that highway into the town till you arrive up a hill to an iron railway bridge. Turn right after the bridge onto Dalton Terrace. At the traffic lights turn left and the inn is hundred metres along on the left. From the South. Come into York on the A64 York-Leeds highway. In the suburbs of the town take the A1036 signposted York West. After a mile you'll pass the racecourse which will be on your right. There is then a slight hill with traffic lights at the upper, go via the lights and the guesthouse is hundred metres on the left hand side. From the Railway Station. Turn right and follow the footpath round the town wall till you arrive to the cross highways. Turn directly at the combination onto Blosson Street. After approx 300 m you'll pass a Sainsbury Minimart, just behind here the highway changes name to The Mount. We are a further 200 m on the right hand side after the Quick fit garage.
