General Information

My partner and I had been running pubs together for 10 years as supervisors for different breweries before we found The Masons Arms. We instantly fell in love with the pub and knew we had to buy it. We were then overwhelmed by the welcome we received from the villagers who have helped us in so plenty of ways since our arrival; from John, our unconventional vicar, who broadcast details of the opening night from the pulpit to Sheila, our local artist, who features allowed us to use her lively paintings of the pub; not to mention assist with websites, posters, all matters chicken-related, and provision of local honey, fish and vegetables all from talented and liberal customers/villagers. We now have 6 apartments, located next to the park and away from the highway, not that there is much traffic in Odcombe! Our apartments have newly been renewed to luxury standard: We believe that a pub should everytime be a pub not a restaurant and we therefore propose a blackboard carte menu with common favourites such as Ham, Egg and Chips and Sausage and Mash alongside a daily changing a la menu. Both options are attainable to you wherever you decide to sit, either interior the pub or outside in the vivid park (weather permitting!). We cater a superb breakfast of cereals, patisseries, full English using local make and lately laid eggs (possibly by our own chickens) supplemented by juice, tea and coffee. It is a meal sure to set you up for your day. Whether your travel is for work or leisure we are only mins away from Yeovil which is catered by 2 train stations and we are just 5 minutes from the A303. There is a affluence of things to do in the region including market place cities such as Sherbourne, a lot of National Trust properties, excellant strolling and the beaches of the Jurassic beach are only 45 mins away.
