Beechwood, in the countryside of Postbridge at the very heart of the Dartmoor National Park, features a feeling of amenity and welcome that strikes customers immediately. Encircled by terraces and meadows, it's advantageously located for enjoying one of the best of the noble moors. Almost everyone who comes here manages to wind down and take joy in watching the world go by. There is a lot to do and see in the locality - tiny hamlets, gorgeous countrysides and thriving market place towns; National Trust properties; unparalleled strolling, cycling and horse riding on the moors; and plenty of occasions for photographers, botanists and wildflower enthusiasts. For cyclists, we provide safe bicycle storage and a drying region. Every morning, a fusion cafeteria and conventional English breakfast cooked in the Aga is catered to set you up for the day. The eggs are from our own independent collection hens and we use as much locally sourced make as possible. We also cater the majority marvellous cream teas with one of the best homemade scones - ever!! Beechwood features 5 bedrooms, every ornamented in a house fashion and there is a relaxed visitor hall, with plenty of guides and reference books accessible for planning your visit. From the moment you are welcomed with cup of tea and homemade biscuits, till the moment you leave, we goal to enhance your stay to Dartmoor in each way possible.
