Welcome to Crompton House Guest House, a pleasant Victorian residence rated three Stars offering homely, relaxing lodging with a superb English breakfast to set you up for the day in the Lake District. We are perfectly located within a short distance of the countrysides of Windermere and Bowness on Windermere and with ferry access to Ambleside and Lakes end. The region is a valid walkers dream. Strolls varying from ambling walks to longer, good fell strolls commence on our doorstep. Local sights surrounding comprise the newly re-equipped ‘World of Beatrix Potter’, Steam boat gallery and Wordsworth Rydal Mount and Dove Cottage, at surrounding Grasmere. Crompton House Bed and Breakfast Guest House is a strictly Non-Smoking Guest House retaining lots of Victorian character. The warm familiar atmosphere creates an idle and comfortable feel. Included in our enjoyable Cumbria Bed and Breakfast are free parking zone and i-net access. Windermere and Bowness on Windermere in addition offer a romanesque selection of restaurants and pubs to apartment all palates and purses. There is self-sufficient car park attainable on place but it's not constantly assured, however there is a lot of self-sufficient car parking in the district. I-net access (Wi-Fi) is also accessible and customers are entitled to free access to the spare time facilities at surrounding Low Wood Club aprox three miles away. (conditions apply when using spare time facilities, it's advised that you book them in good time to avoid dissapointment). Check in times are from 14. 00hrs till 20. 30hrs whether arrival outside of these times must be by prior arrangement, we will be delighted to try and accommodate customers requests. We are sorry we do not longer accept kids under the age of 8 years ancient. All in all, Windermere provides a captivating short break, but don’t just take our word for it; come and see for yourself!
