General Information

Julia and Colin seem to have thought of everything: vast airy suites, homely king sized beds, walk-in showers, big detach bath and flat screen TV. There’s also a table, DVD player, under floor heating, home made goodies, self-sufficient Wi-Fi and authentic milk in your own still fridge. Every room is equipped with the same level of comfort but various decor; choose your favourite! There’s even a sheltered and privately-owned courtyard for visitors that faces the mature panoramic gardens. The breakfast carte menu is commodious, using local and organic products where possible. It that wasn’t enough, there’s also lots of charming art on the walls and fabulous lighting throughout. Eco heating and water systems just add more to the list of fascinating things approximately South Lodge! There is one scenic restaurant within strolling distance; a few more within two miles. Don’t want to eat out? Julia will organize a platter of meats and/or cheeses with some home baked bread for a light supper. Park amusements within 5 miles comprise: The Stables (walking distance - cinema of Cleo Laine and the late Sir John Dankworth), Woburn Abbey, Safari Park and world standard Woburn hole golf course, and Bletchley Park, home of the Enigma codebreakers. South Lodge is also just hundred yards away from the local cycle ‘redway’ system and the Sustrans national cycle route.
