Embedded in the pretty Wiltshire countryside of Longbridge Deverill on the RIver Wylye, with beauteous vistas over two acres of beauteous grounds. The George proposes just prepared food, vivid local ales, en-suite accomodation and a highly sincere reception. Stonehedge and Longleat are within a short driving distance, as are the eighteenth century park and Palladian manor house of Stourhead. Combine us in the brasserie for a drink opposite the open fire, or, on a summers evening sit on the verandah enjoying the tranquillity and calmness. Transportation

Take the A303 from Hampshire into Wiltshire passing Stone Henge on the way. Turn right onto the A350 sign posted to Warminster. Continue for five miles till you get to Longbridge Deverill. The George able to be found on the left hand side in the heart of the countryside.
