Number 28 Bed and Breakfast Warkworth

General Information

John and Lynne propose a greatly warm 'Geordie' welcome to all our dear guests. Number 28 is located in the center of the pretty Northumberland countryside of Warkworth. With its multitude of art galleries, restaurants and bars, Warkworth is embeded in a loop, on the River Coquet, dominated by the majestic remains of Warkworth Castle and the mediaeval church of St Lawrence. Our lodging consists two recently refurbished double bedrooms with en-suite amenities, cordiality tray, Freeview TV, hairdryer, CD player and alarm clock. Our dwellers hall provides I-net access, Sky TV (sports & movies), Bose ipod Sound Dock ( which customers able to take to bedroom), DVD and a fridge providing a selection of soft drinks, for a little contribution, with all proceeds going to The Royal National Institute for the Blind. In the breakfast room, visitors will be catered a home-cooked breakfast from a choice of local make. Clients are most welcome to take tea/coffee on our decking or courtyard after breakfast and test 2 charming terraces. Private car park is obtainable within a minute's stroll. We are just a fifteen minute stroll away from a lovely and largely deserted, sandy coastline and only seven miles from the market place city of Alnwick with its well-known Castle and Water Gardens. The region is good for walkers and cyclists and we can offer safe bike storage and packed snacks on demand. Alternatively, John will be happy to accompany any fellow runners on a choice of astonishing village, river or coast runs. We greatly much anticipate to meeting you.
