The Kick and Dicky is an delightfull former state inn with a licensed pub dating from approximately 1800. It's located in the hamlet of Wellpond Green, close to Standon, in a halcyon, rustic setting, with scenic vistas on all sides of farmland, forest and vales. Wellpond Green is only several miles from both the A10 and the M11, and a 15-20 minute drive to Stanstead Airport. You're guaranteed of a joyous and cosy welcome from proprietors Cathy and Frankie. There are 5 enjoyable letting suites, all shower-en-suite, with Freeview TV and Free WIFI. Windows facing rustic Hertfordshire at its ultimate. There is a splendid, large brasserie, and a comprehensive, light and cozy restaurant, both provided with particularly commissioned tables and chairs. Evening Meals are only accessible by prior arrangement, but there are 3 pubs serving food, a Chinese restaurant within a mile or so.
