General Information

The Barn House holiday hotel is actually split over two properties, The Barn House, your more conventional farmstead with beams and log fires and The Pigeon Loft, which is more present-day with tiled floors and simple linens. Each room is hand painted in own specific fashion, so not one of our seven elegant bedrooms is the same. This indeed imaginative yet cosy five star lodging is embedded in good privately-owned terraces the whole with outside seating district, hot tub and in the summer months a celebration tent. We also brag two lounges, two dining suites a dining room and a boardroom good for ceremonies, family gatherings, privately-owned dining, conferences, meetings, coaching or privately-owned business center. We able to lodge up to 14 clients at one time. We are located within free access of the M62, York, Beverley, Hull, the East Coast and the Yorkshire Dales. Here at the Barn House we are proud of ourselves on our standards, amenities and the home from home experience. We are little enough to propose you that all indispensable individual attention and further wide enough to accommodate all your requirements.


Transportation

M62 East towards Hull. Follow the highway all the way the end. The highway then becomes the A63 and narrows to a dual carriageway instead of three lanes. At this point leave the highway, there is a spacious motorway sign over the carriageway and it's signposted North Cave. At the end of the exit highway turn left into North Cave. Go via the countryside till you get to a T-junction with a local newsagent in facade of you. Turn right here and follow the highway out of the countryside. Approximately two miles out of the countryside you'll come to another T-junction. Turn left here and then almost immediately you turn right. Just after this turning you'll pass a Conference Centre on you left hand side called Rudstone Walk. Keep on this highway for approximately five miles after which you'll come into Walkington Village. You'll know you have arrived in the countryside because there are loads of traffic calmers. Head via the countryside, you'll see 3 pubs on you left hand side, 1st the dog and duck, then the Ferguson and Fawcitt Arms and finally the Barrel. As you shortly as you see the Barrel indicate right, my cottage is exactly in front of the pub and the driveway is exactly at the side of the cottage. The lobby is a gravel drive with some vivid brick pillars at either side. When you drive in you'll find a court yard in facade of you and a slate sign saying the Barn House. Just drive into the patio and garden anywhere interior. There are limited parking places interior so you may have to garden on the boulevard or take the following left after the Barrel into All Hallows highway and garden on this avenue insteadFrom Beverley or Hull you'll enter Walkington through the traffic lights. Come over the traffic calmers past the Village pond on your right hand side. You'll then find a row of detached houses and a social cottage called THE BARREL. As you see the Barrel you'll discover a highway turning off to your left called ALL HALLOWS highway, you are able to garden down here. Once parked please go back to the principal street. Diagonally in front of the barrel is a gravel drive with some vivid brick pillars at either side. When you stroll in you'll uncover a court yard in facade of you and a slate sign saying the Barn House.
