General Information

The cottage features been providing visitor lodging since at least the 1960's - we occasionally receive callers who tell us they used to visit here when they were kids. The farm's tranquil location in an AONB makes it perfect for those seeking entire tranquillity and leisure. The farm achieved organic status approximately ten years ago which features increased its appeal. The bridleway running via the farm was used by Queen Victoria's carriage when she visited the neighbouring Appuldurcombe Estate. We have three self catering properties every sleeping from two to four people. Up to seven able to be accommodated in Lake View. Wifi is obtainable. Breakfast is catered in the magnificent oak-panelled lounge. Work customers are welcome. Clothes laundering service is obtainable on demand. Local and organic make is used wherever possible including independent collection Isle of Wight bacon and sausages produced on a neighbouring farm, our own independent collection eggs and honey, British organic milk and butter plus preserves homemade with our own fruit. Locally pressed apple juice is catered along with a choice of other pure fruit juices. As we only serve for several clients at a time the amenities is extremely individual and we goal to give a home from home.
