General Information

A 17th Century training Inn with original oak beams slate floors and 2 woodburning stoves, located in the Lake District National Park in the tranquil hamlet of Bouth, popular with locals and travellers alike, encircled by fields, fell and woods which propose some fine low level sometimes hilly strolling and mountain biking, just a 20 minute stroll or cycle from the pub presents astonishing views of the Rusland Valley, Coniston Old Man and Morecambe Bay. The horseshoe shaped brasserie brags six true ales all cask marque inspected which comprise Cumbrian brews from Coniston Brewery, Ulverston and Jennings the remaining pumps feature changing visitor beers from around the UK. Food is newly cooked to order using local Beef, Lamb, Pork, Fish and Game.


Transportation

Take Junction 36 M6 follows signs for A590 Barrow-in-Furness for approx 15 miles 1st right turn after Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway signposted Bouth, 1st left and follow for 1. five miles into the countryside.
