The Orange Tree is a modish, up-to-date dining pub, nestled in one of Norfolk's most captivating waterside countrysides. We are thrilled that our Head Chef, Philip Milner, has recently been named the 'Great British Seafood Pub Chef of the Year', 2010, fighting off stiff competition from all over the UK. We are widely recognised as the best places to eat in North Norfolk. It's our goal to cater award-winning food, made from locally sourced make, in a laid back surroundings. We have a delicious al fresco dining region and children’s playground, ideal for warm summer months afternoons and in the evenings. The Orange Tree proposes a refuge of stillness for couples, families and friends looking to relax and enjoy good food and wine. We have six adjacent bedrooms, all of which have now been renewed to a dainty standard, making us the ideal site to unbend and receive pleasure from our impressive, unspoiled beaches by day and our award-winning food by night. Thornham proposes a prime base for guests to discover our very especial coastline. On the edge of Brancaster gulf, we are minutes' amble from Thornham Harbour and excellent coast behind where one able to find unspoiled peace even at the height of summer months. Very near by is the bustling haven of Brancaster Staithe and the famed bird reserve of Titchwell. The property of the world-popular "Sea Henge" is within a mile and just along the beach is the popular family resort of Hunstanton. Several miles to the East is one of Norfolk's finest loved waterside cities Wells-next-the-sea. We are rather popular with those enjoying the varied state pursuits attainable in Norfolk. Dogs are welcome in the bedrooms at a charge of £8 per dog per visit. They are also allowed in the brasserie region.
