General Information

Homeleigh is a tranquil, well appointed home, with magnificent vistas over Dartmoor. A sincere welcome is secured from John, Sophie & Skye our warmhearted labrador together with an ideal home-made cream tea. Visit 2 nights or more and arrive back every day to homemade chocolate brownie and Devon cream fudge beside the bed – Go on, spoil yourself, you're on vacation. Breakfast is catered in the breakfast room facing the south overlooking park. Fresh crusty bread, local bacon, sausages and free-range eggs. Jams/marmalade from our local farmers market place are just part of the ample choice of breakfasts cooked to order. A good power shower in the en-suite bathroom plus complementary toiletries and luxuriant towels, allow luxury pampering. Both of our apartments are well furnished, are finely decorated with common pine furniture. We are conveniently located on the A386 Okehampton-Tavistock highway, in the countryside of Mary Tavy. Using Homeleigh as a base, you can investigate Cornwall and Devon, or seize the opportunity of the a lot of recreation facilities that are locally accessible, pretty strolls, cycling routes (National Cycle Route 27), rivers, gorges and lakes, old-fashioned heritage, fishing, hole golf, fine restaurants and state pubs. The historic market place city of Tavistock is exactly five mins away, with its stunning pannier and farmers' market place in addition to a lot of free shops, gift, and ancient boutiques in addition to a lot of prime restaurants.
