The Anchor Inn is a family run, freehold state inn, located in the countryside of Hillfarrance between Taunton and Wellington. It prides itself on being a home away from home. It features a firstrate selection of vegetarian and fish menu and the homemade puddings carte menu is specifically popular. In addition to a conventional social and hall bars with beams and a feature dual-facing open fire, the Anchor Inn also features an attractive dining place with a solid oak floor and big skylights. From the A38 from Taunton, turn off towards the countryside of Bradford on Tone, in front of the World's End pub. 1 mile after Bradford on Tone, heading towards the countryside of Oake, the Anchor Inn is signposted to the right.
