Prestigious rustic bed & breakfast in remarkable distance of the M4 in Wiltshire. Embedded in the unspoiled Wiltshire village, yet just mins from the M4 and main Swindon, Overtown Manor provides the ideal escape for our dear guests. Overtown Manor is a Grade II listed cottage in its own park and grounds. Recently reconditioned we provide the most high standard of lodging and the warmest of welcomes. Overtown Manor is part of a working farm set on the edge of the Marlborough Downs. We are conveniently situated near Swindon and the M4 but are fortunate to have a solitary and calm setting. Percy works as a land agent and Nancy is a qualified cook. Nancy features worked in the catering industry for the last 15 years cooking Directors snacks in London and Swindon, conference catering at Sheepdrove Organic farm, privately-owned dinner and drinks parties, and most lately cookery demonstrations and teaching teenagers. All our menus are based upon lively local, seasonal British food. The Manor is a family home, recently remodelled to produce it a wonderfully cosy and cozy site to visit while maintaining its original spell. The cottage features a Georgian wing which Nancy and Percy live in with their family; and a Victorian wing which features been altered especially for Bed and Breakfast customers, meetings and privately-owned parties. The cottage and farm have been in the proprietors family for over 100 years - Percy, Nancy and their kids are the fourth generation to live at Overtown.
