The Balmoral and Terrace Guest Houses are prominently located on Roker sea facade, within free access of Sunderland downtown, the University and Empire Theatre. The Stadium of Light which is home to Sunderland A.F.C, and The National Glass Centre and New Marina are only mins away, as is the finishing point for the C2C bike ride. For those desiring to have dinner locally, there are a number of cafes and restaurants not far from, including a Chinese and an Italian doors away. A 10 minute stroll takes you to the neighbouring resort of Seaburn, where you can find Chinese, Italian and Indian food to tempt you. For the less adventurous, we have plenty of seaside resort fish and chip boutiques only a stones throw away.
