General Information

All bed linen is 100% cotton, and the mattress is top quality for a quiet night's sleep. 100% cotton dust mite proof barrier cases on mattresses and pillows. Choice of feather or hypoallergenic duvets and pillows. Fluffy white towels, robes and slippers. The bathroom consists of an over bath shower. Wi-fi is obtainable (bring your own laptop), and full Sky satellite package (movies, music, sports, kids' tv) provided. Travel cot and highchair accessible. Basic items such as toiletries, washing up liquid, are offered for at least the initial two or three days, also milk, tea/coffee/sugar/biscuits/fruit on arrival. Convenience store, takeaway, post office, 1 minute. Pub three minutes. Indian restaurant short distance of 10 minute. Bus stop for Stroud and other countrysides 2 minutes. Stroud is on the major line railway into London Paddington. Avenue car parking directly outside the suite. The Cotswolds features a lot of famous park amusements but here are several of the more special experiences from just across the highway up to within a 30 minute drive: local canal restoration, heritage in the making (www.cotswoldcanalsproject.org/brimscombe); take a trial flight in a glider, an adventurous way to take in the amazing local views; Bibury's Arlington Row, its origins dating from 1380, found in 'the most magnetic countryside in the Cotswolds' William Morris; the Severn Bore, a 'spectacular natural phenomena', and so much more.. It's a 5 minute drive (or a healthy stroll up hill) up to the Commons with some of a most beautiful National Trust controlled common land in the state, with renowned and far reaching vistas over the Cotswolds, and towards the Severn Estuary and Wales behind. Horses and cattle roam freely across the Commons, and the grassland slopes are home to rare butterfly and wildflower species including thirteen species of orchid. The region is good for walkers and cyclists. The amenities and serene location are perfect for the business traveler.
