You'll be guaranteed of a warm and welcoming welcome at this seventeenth centuty beamed house which provides marvellous lodging and is located just several mins stroll from Stow Square. Built in 1640 it was indigenously an Ale House called "The Cross Keys" where the ale was brewed in the vault. In 1660 a 2nd house was constructed beyond the original dwelling and entirely newly a further extension was added, giving Cross Keys deceptively suitable and extensive lodging. On the 1st floor you'll find the dining room where a firstrate choice of breakfasts is catered. There are also 2 hall region for visitors use - one with tv and hospitable open log fires to keep you cozy on winter in the evenings.
