Chy Morvah Hotel St Ives

General Information

Chy Morvah, meaning cottage by the sea' is a good name for this seaside resort hotel. Panoramas from the hall and breakfast room extend across the golden sands of St Ives Bay to the lighthouse at Godrevy Point. The cottage, designated non-smoking, features 37 en-suite bedrooms, equiped with a hairdryer, clock radio and additionaly tea/coffee making service. Televisions and telephones are not provided in the bedrooms. Visitors are able to unwind in the 3 lounges, brasserie or greenhouse. The open-air heated swimming pool is open from May to September inclusive and clients able to also enjoy putting outdoors or pool and ping-pong in the inner toys apartment. Meals are catered in an unofficial, familiar atmosphere at tables for up to 8 visitors. A three-course dinner is catered at seven to seven. 30pm for a charge of 18 GBP for a person. Whether you would like to have dinner at the grange please contact the cottage before 6pm to produce your dinner reservation. An option of full English or nutritious breakfas is offered. To enable you to produce the majority of your hiking or strolling vacation, a self-select picnic snack able to be provided for small charge of ten GBP for a person. Free parking zone is obtainable. Please inform the grange in good time whether you intend to arrive after 10.30pm. Bedrooms are gettable from two. 30pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by ten. 00am on the day of departure. This farmstead is a magnificent base for those on an activity or strolling vacation. Surrounding sights include The Lizard Peninsula and Lands End, the Eden Project, 45 miles away and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, 39 miles away.

Transportation

From A30 follow A3074 to St Ives through Carbis Bay. Follow left fork signposted Leisure center. Turn left up steep hill and tuen left again. Turn right at Longships Hotel and stright up hill. Guesthouse is directly in facade. Follow highway around hotel and turn right into Bishops rd. Car parking is directly after hotel.
