We also provide a calm base for visiting treveller & work persons. A Free House, the brasserie is the ideal venue for pre or post meal drinks. Well stocked with wines, spirits and soft drinks, genuine ales are a permanent and popular feature here. The restaurant is good for either a deliberately snack or as a site in which to unbend at the end of a day of activity and sightseeing. The ambience is uniquely remote and calm and moreover it's really available, being only several miles from busy commercial centres including St. Asaph Business Park. The luxurious countryside and sea panorama to be delighted from The Hawk and Buckle become even more imposing as you gaze further afield to the distant Blackpool Tower and the Cumbrian mountains! The shire of Denbighshire is part of radiant North East Wales. It stretches from the popular waterside spas of Rhyl and Prestatyn in the north, down via the Vale of Clwyd, over the panoramic Horseshoe Pass into the nice Dee Valley where nestle the busy hiking city of Llangollen home to the International Music Eisteddfod each year. As you move south from the golden beaches via the historic cities of the Vale of Clwyd- Rhuddlan, St. Asaph, Denbigh and Ruthin- you're sheltered by the mountains of the Clwydian Range, an official Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
