General Information

Ogstons is a little Boutique Hotel in the very heart of St Andrews. Owned by local entrpreneur Fraser Ogston and run by General Manager Alasdair Knight, the inn features seen a the whole renewal over the last two years and features raised both the standards of lodging and facilities behind that of its three Star rating. This is evident in the Hotel being nominated for Small Hotel of the Year in the 2010 Golf Tourism Scotland Hotel Awards. The inn is situated in the center within a short distance of the Old Course, University and city facilities. Ogstons incorporates the Oak Rooms Restaurant and Bar and Lizard Lounge Bar, both extremely popluar and outstanding public venues. In the holidays the guesthouse is often booked by customers who use the guesthouse as their base for enjoying St. Andrews, be it for the world great golfing service, for the diverse treveller sights such as the Byre Theatre and the St Andrews Aquarium or for just a lazy weekend away from it all. By TrainNearest station is Leuchars (5 miles) on the major line from London (King's Cross) - Edinburgh - Aberdeen, St. Andrews may be reached by auto, cab or by bus facilities from Leuchars (2 to three buses per hour between 9 am and six pm and less frequently at other times).
