Cromwell's Inn is a privy owned 15th C building in the very heart of Shrewsbury offering cosy up-to-date accommodation. It brags a snug Wine Bar Bistro and majestic intimate Restaurant with wealthy oak panelling and a spectacular walled Garden that is the envy of the city. A local pair, Mike and Karen Avery, bought the structure and on-going work in June 2010. They have invested in main improvements to produce our guests' visit even more friendly. New improvements made in December 2010 include; secondary glazing to all highway overlooking bedrooms fitted with specific acoustic glass to reduce city center hubbub and a fresh heating installation. Our Restaurant proposes 1st class locally sourced food cooked and ready with passion. We are a Freehouse and choose our own beers and wines from international, national and local producers. A single safe car parking space is obtainable neighboring to the Hotel and priority will be presented to Guests holding a Disabled Badge.

Transportation

Cromwell's is located in the very heart of Shrewsbury 's antiquated town heart, within a short distance of all parking amenities and the Railway Station. Whether arriving by train, turn left out of the the Railway Station on to Castle Street. Follow this highway up a hill. It bend to the left onto St Mary's Street and Cromwell's is then about 200 yds on the right hand side with a yellow and black hanging sign. Whether you're arriving by auto there is a loading gulf outside the Hotel where you are able to unload you luggage. The NCP car parking is exactly a 1 minute drive away.
