General Information

The lively 18th century major building is located on the highway between Shrewsbury and Ellesmere. Featuring conventional forest beams, a warming snug with hearth, a peerless period brasserie and a delicious dining district, the Burlton Inn is among one of the best state pubs in Shropshire listed in the Michelin guide for the last three years. We provide lovely lodging within the grounds of the guesthouse next to the major building. Consisting of six well appointed visitor suites, the annex lodging is a generous Shropshire hideaway, featured in The Hidden Places of England'. four stars from the AA guide and winning a dinner award for 2010. Snack is catered Monday - Saturday 12-2pm, Sunday 12-3pm. Dinner is catered Monday - Saturday 6-9pm. The restaurant is closed Sunday in the evenings.


Transportation

From Shrewsbury railway station, take the 1st right onto A5191Chester St, continue to follow to Chester St, continue onto A528coton hill, continue to follow A528. Go through 1st roundabout, continue onto Howard St. Turn right to visit on the A528. destination will be on the left handside. From Yorton railway station distance four. three miles, Take the fist left and head northwest on the wayside toward station Rd. Turn directly at the A528. destination will be on the left hand side.
