General Information

The Firs derives its name from some of the ancient and varied trees in the four acres of grounds, plenty of of which predate the cottage. In addition to trees there are numerous rhododendrons and azaleas with carpets of daffodils in the spring. Visitors able to walk though the grounds taking convenience of the park furniture to unbend and watch pheasants, rabbits, squirrels and owls in addition to a lot of other smaller birds. The beauteous bedrooms are traditionally provided with their own cosy seating districts. There are feather duvets, fluffy bathrobes and airy bunchs of flowers. Both are en-suite with sumptuous Egyptian cotton bedding and wonderfully thick bath sheets and hand towels.
