General Information

The Seaview Hotel is located next to the sea in the idyllic sailing countryside of Seaview, on the North East beach of the Isle of Wight. Small hotel features 28 well appointed apartments & suites all with en-suite amenities, televisions and telephones. All are non smoking and are nicely appointed, ornamented in a exquisite and mellow manner. With lavish fabrics, bold designs, nice antiques, original watercolours, homely beds, fluffy towels, gleaming taps, crisp linen, interesting novels, warm lighting & breakfast in bed - the bedrooms are purposed to produce you feel pampered.

The Hotel also owns Myrtle house, previously a local fishermans house, now a completely furnished self catering facility sleeping up to 4.

The work is run by Andrew Morgan and his team who invite you to the Hotel. The Hotel was authentically built by the local Caws family in approximately 1800 and over the last 2 decades the work and building features been transformed, with the capacious building business being carried out by descendants from the original Caws family. Previously only open for a pair of months in summer time season, it now buzzes with activity during all the year and permanently employs over 35 Islanders. Working closely within the community, adopting plenty of environmentally welcoming policies and using predominantly Island make from local suppliers, the guesthouse and restaurants have accumulated numerous awards and accolades and brought affluence to the countryside of Seaview and the Island in general.

Dining at the Seaview is a nice experience. 2 contrasting restaurants and 2 bars are at the very heart of the Seaview Hotel. The Island brags exotic peculiarities - lobster, crab, sea bass, asparagus, wine and garlic. Add the Seaview's own fresh herbs and the pioneering skills of the kitchen personnel and the urbane yet unpretentious restaurants buzz with mouth-watering expectation. Choose between the original restaurant at the facade with its white linen, fresh bunchs of flowers, silver, paintings and tick tock of a apartment full of clocks, the greenhouse with its rare range of ships models, blue glass and clear lines or either of our 2 bars. At breakfast the tranquil rustle of newspapers, with oranges squeezed privately that morning, together with porridge, kippers and lashings of fresh coffee,
