The Beach House Hotel is family run and is praised for its relaxed "home from home" ambiance, which the proprietors, Malcolm and Hazel, have striven to establish. In its peaceful location, the inn is set back from one of a most beautiful stretches of history coastline that Northumberland can offer. The golden sands stretch to the neighbouring countryside of Bamburgh, where one of the majority grand palaces in England able to be explored. The hall, breakfast room and brasserie brag glorious views of the Farne Islands, located three miles out to sea. The Farnes are now a nature reserve, home to a capacious seal colony and a lot of various species of seabirds including puffins, cormorants and oyster catchers. However they will everytime be well known for their historic past, once being a sanctuary for St Cuthbert, and more newly for the heroic efforts of Grace Darling in her bid to save the survivors from the Forfarshire steamship. With boat trips gettable from the local harbor hundreds of customers return year after year to adore the plenty of joy to which this group of no fewer than 28 islands have to propose.
