The Mountview’s good location means it is just 2 or 3 minutes stroll from the Esplanade, where you are sure to enjoy one of the best vistas on the east beach - stretching from the pretty harbor, across to the sea-swept cliffs reaching south toward Filey Brigg. Take the rock elevator down to the Spa, or stroll along one of the plenty of paths leading via the Italian & Rose Gardens. Or maybe walk along the rock upper to city and appreciate the blend of specialist butiques and high boulevard names, which propose a big variety for shopping or browsing. The Mountview can be easily reached from the city's rail & coach station, and a regular bus facilities able to drop you nearly outside the door.
