Transportation

By rail, Salisbury is on the WaterlooExeter major line; hiking time from Waterloo is around 1. five hours. The Grasmere Hotel is located approximately two miles from the station. By highway arriving from London through the M3, exit onto the A303. You are able to exit the A303 onto the A343A30 sign posted SalisburyMiddle Wallop. Alternatively, you are able to continue on the A303 and take the A345 sign posted AmesburySalisbury. By highway arriving from London through the M4, exit onto the A34 toward NewburyAndoverSouthampton. Leave the A34 onto the A303 towards Andover and follow directions as above. When you come in Salisbury, follow directions for Southampton (A36) and then towards Blandford (A354). Filter left at the mix after Southampton Road, then move into the right hand lane in preparation to turn directly at the traffic lights onto what is now named New Harnham Road. Carry on past the church on the right the guesthouse entry is around 40 yards on the right.
