The South Sands Hotel Salcombe

Transportation

By auto: Follow M5 south bound till it joins the A38. Follow the A38 expressway towards Plymouth, taking the right hand fork as it splits. Visit on A38 till the Ermington Ivybridge garden and ride turning. Follow the highway, when you get to the crossroads, carry on direct over. At California cross (slightly after pub) turn left, signed Loddiswell. Follow this highway till Sorley Cross, take the right turn in the direction of Plymouth. At Bantham Cross roundabout take the first exit, to Salcombe. At Langworthy Barn blend turn right signed Salcombe. Follow this highway for approx five miles. As you pass West End garage (on your right) continue for 0. five miles and then take the right turn into Sandhills highway. Follow via the hairpin bends and turn directly at the base of the hill. Drive past the Winking Prawn (on your right) and follow the highway, you'll climb out of the dale and then drop into the following (South Sands). You'll see the Tides Reach hotel on your right and slightly further on is South Sands (left hand side). Drive past the inn and on the hairpin left bend turn right into our driveway. By Train: Main line stations are situated in Newton Abbot (45 min drive), Plymouth (40 min drive) and further a sub station at Totnes (35 min drive)By Air:
