The Nevis Range enjoys outstanding ski-ing terms during the winter season and is only five miles from Roy Bridge. Also a must for mountain bike enthusiasts and walkers/climbers all year round. Scotlands only mountain gondola will transportation you 650m up the side of Aonach Mor where you are able to follow mountain trails to panoramic viewpoints. Easily reachible by auto, local buses also run from Roy Bridge to Fort William through the Nevis Range. Whether those activities sound a bit stressful, you are able to just admire the grand landscape, take a gentle walk in the wonderful Glen Roy and observe the parallel roads; a geographical, oceanic feature.
